How To Refer

Referrals can be made from any professional; family members or friends if they are concerned about any aspect of an elders well-being.  This referral can be made by:

  • telephone
  • email
  • coming into the office
We act upon a referral within 24 hours of it reaching us and offer an appointment with one of our team at the service-users convenience.  This appointment usually takes place in the service-users home but, we can also meet you at our offices if that is more convenient.

Assessments & Referrals

Once contact is made with the Leeds Black Elders Association an initial assessment will be carried out on the service user, this will determine the individual's needs.
