Our scheme is aimed to improve the quality of life of the service user by giving support when dealing with all aspects of housing issues.
This could be any of the following:-
- Disconnecting and reconnection of gas and electric.
- Completing community grant forms.
- Housing Benefits.
- Council Tax benefit.
- Obtaining furniture.
- Accompanying service user to appointments that are housing related.
- Adaptations to property.
- Repairs.
- Rent and Council areas.
How to refer
Referrals can be carried out via a telephone conversation, through an agency, or it could come from a friend, or it could be a self referral.
Referrals are generally responded to within 24 hours of the referral coming into the office
